This started with one career — and the opportunities learning opened up.
Mari Jo Acabal began her career as a teacher in the Philippines before moving into training, instructional design, and eventually global learning design and consulting.
That journey exposed a gap she saw again and again: talented people don’t always lack ability. Sometimes they lack access to the skills, context, practice, and guidance that help them translate that ability into opportunity.
Next Wave Learning was created to help close that gap.
